So...I am here to stay. In Shanty town, working at this laundromat where no one really comes to wash clothes. RIDICULOUS. I soon realize that I haven't slept yet and its only 7 in the morning. I am usually knocked out by now, but I guess after all that chaos of the burning books and prostitutes I couldn't sleep.
My dad's gayness crosses my mind and I realize that I am not even mad... I mean what can I do now. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. He was attracted to his own kind and in love with a tranny. SMH.
I need something to eat. Maybe a little snack and some tv would put me to bed. Let's see....... ooooo I want my infamous sandwich again. I turn on the tv and see my show Criminal Minds is on. I do believe one day someone from Shanty Town would be the story. Maybe Dave the Butcher...He's a creeper. Or maybe Jeb- He is bound to snap one day. Or maybe even Me. Maybe one day I may try to teach these people a lesson about washing clothes. Or maybe my father being gay would not sit too well with me one day and I would go around killing all of his partners...NAH that's not me, but then again you never know.
Just as my ways to kill people start to run through my mind, the fire alarm sounds. I hate that damn bell. It's so loud and obnoxious. Someone probably pulled it to piss people off. Like a junky or something. So I wait a little to see if the sound would stop, but it doesn't. It may be something serious. Maybe that religious group set something else ablaze. Ill go check it out.
I walk outside to see that everyone is out and headed towards the library. So I follow the crowd. It is that group. Burning the books wasn't satisfying enough, they had to set the whole library on fire. As we near the library, I notice the religious group is now arriving also. So what in the world could have happened. I try asking those around but no one knows. Just then I see the firefighters and police dragging a body out. I get closer to see who it is...
OMG. Edith. Someone has attacked Edith and then set the whole building on fire. Who could have done this. Criminal Minds pop back in my mind. I knew someone would snap. Now just to find out who to make sure I could never be a part of their list. Then again I don't associate with much people. Oh well just to be safe, I think I might just leave. Don't want to die yet at least not before experiencing certain things and choosing my own death.
I snap back into reality and look around. No one seems to care that Edith is dead. Instead they are just talking about ways in which they would have killed her or someone else. This town is too weird. I really need to GET OUT.

IM GONE
When I wake up in the morning, I know what to do. Get up, shower, eat, pack and get the hell out of this place. And thats what I begin to do. I take a 30 minute shower, eat a nice breakfast- a bacon, mustard, egg and cheese sandwich with a side of french toast and some orange juice- and then proceed to packing. Its pretty early in the morning since I dont want to see anyone when i go, but I hear a bunch of chaos outside. So i stop packing and head outside to see what is going on.
When I reach outside, I see that there is some type of rally outside which looks like a cult about to sacrifice someone. They are stacking books and setting them ablaze and chanting. CREEPY.
Next thing I know the mosque sets on fire and then from there everything goes wrong. Kandi and the rest of local prostitutes come out and join, the homeless people come out, and out of no where a group of japanese people comes out and jeb is even out there. Everyone from the whole town was out and about. It was such a weird experience. and its also the experience that made me decide to STAY.

THE NEXT DAY
I couldn't help but think about what Cain had told me the day before. My father...GAY.
I thought about how that could happen when he was so in love with my mother. But then again...I vaguely remember them together. I pulled out my father's letter and read again. I noticed that R.F was written more than any other initials. I continued reading and noticed that R.F. referred to a girl... his new love. But Cain said that my dad was gay. How could he be gay when he was in love with a girl.
I had to go searching for answers. Here we go again.
I went into work today, for what I dont know. But hopefully someone uses the laundromat.
Around 12 noon. A woman walks in. He is tall, and built, with long outrageous weave, and I can't help but stare. She turns to me and says in a deep manly voice,"I know hunny...Renee Factor always turns heads".
Renee Factor...I can't believe it...It's her---I mean him---tranny. My dad is gay and the love of his life was a transvestite. WTF
I walk straight up to the man/woman and stutter to say," you..."
But she stops me and and hugs me, then proceeds to say," You are his child."
Gosh I must really resemble this guy.
We sit down and talk and she tells me stories of my dad. Some were nice and some were just TMI... But I continued to listen.
After a while I ask about my father's death and everything turns serious.
"Your father cared for alot of people and tried his best to protect everyone and their identity. He died protecting me..."
"What do you mean".
"One night I was out behind Dave's butcher shop and Courtney Red approached me. She had found out all about me and Will as well as him and other men in the town and was threatening to expose it all unless I help her to get footage. I rejected and said that I wouldn't and she pulled a gun to my head and told me she would kill me. Your father just happened to walk by and see it and so he came to try to help me and the gun fired and your father layed there dead. Both me and Courtney were scared and shivering and went to the cops. she promised that she wouldn't expose your father if I agreed to say we found him like that and that's what we did. But eventually the truth got out to the rest of the town and shockingly no one cared to throw Courtney Red behind bars. They said that they were glad that a gay man was dead."
I began to tear up and breath heavily. I could not believe that my father's death was not cared for. And I cant believe I came all the way to Shanty Town to find this out.FML
Renee hugged me again and told me I should get out of this town and that I deserve better. I dont need to be worried about what goes on and thats what I decided to do. I was done with this town and its people and i hope it burns.

CRACKING DOWN
I awake to a shaded room and what sounds like dozens of chickens. I think its all a dream and turn to look at my clock.
It is 5:12pm. Darn. I slept the whole day away. I guess yesterday at the carnival tired me out.
I go to the drawer and pull out my father's letter and read it for the umpteenth time. I take note of every initialed reference and then head out to unveil the mystery and figure out my father's past.
The first thing to do is ask around since I don't know anyone. The best thing is to head to the carnival again. It seems like everyone is always there. So I head out the house.
On the way to the carnival I realize why I heard chickens. There are literally dozens of chicken wandering the street and some are walking straight towards the carnival and some are in the mix of the rally going on...So weird.
I arrive at the carnival and see that everyone is there since its the last day. I can definitely find out who is who today-and I intend to.
I walk around and spot a few people that I've noticed before. So I head in their direction first. I first talk to a woman named Edna. I don't just come right out and tell her what I really came to ask. Instead I just do small talk. She doesn't seem to want to talk so I come right out and ask her about the initials. She looks at them puzzled for a minute and then turns and looks at me with a screwed look.
"What is this for child?".
I swallow hard and then begin to explain my father's letter and the initials.
Halfway in, Edna stops me and asks,"wait...what's your father's name?"
"Will", I answer.
The woman slowly backs up as if I were a stray dog about to attack. She then snaps and sternly says,"Will...he is not missed." Then she turns and walks away.
I dont know what to think of it so I brush it off and continue to search for answers. Thats when I find one initial person...Cain T.
He was standing by the cotton candy machine when i spotted him. It must have been written that we'd speak because as soon as I looked, he did the same and there was the same look on his face as that of Edna.
I walked towards him and his awkwardness intensified. When I reached talking distance, I introduced myself and asked his name. He hesitated to answer, but finally stuttered," C-Ca-Cah-Cain Taygen".
I gasped and realized that I was on the verge of a breakthrough. C.T is Cain Taygen. So I asked,"do you know my father?". He hesitated again.
"Well do you? His name is..."
"I know...Will".
I was stunned at his interruption. But I didnt say anything. He must have noticed that I wouldn't speak because he bagan.
"Come with me". I followed him to an area of the carnival where there were not much people.
"Can you keep a secret".
"Yes", I answered.
"Your father and I were really close".
"Well what's wrong with that?" I asked.
"No like really close", he said.
"I don't understand".
"Did you know your father...Like really know him".
"No, he died when I was 12".
"Well I really knew your father. He were really really close. You see---I am gay."
"Wait that means that my father is..."
"Yes. He was gay. And I was one of his regulars."
"What do you mean one of his regulars."
"Your father was not only gay. He was a gay man whore and frequently came to me."
"You're lying", I shouted and I turned to run away.
"If you don't believe me go visit Renee Factor."
Renee Factor I thought---R.F. This is not the answer I was looking for.

THE SET EM UP CARNIVAL
I can't quite understand why someone would set up a carnival in this rundown town, especially with this type of weather. I am inside of the laundromat and still have to wear some type of sweater of jacket.
This weather is soooo freaking annoying. I don't understand why my dad would live here. He is from the islands where its always hot and complains anytime the weather gets below 70. Now why in the world would he want to be here. There hasn't been a nice day yet. Why am I here.
OMG!!! Sirens. What the hell happened. I hope its nothing too serious. I walk outside to see where the fire truck is going. OH WOW. That old abandon warehouse caught on fire. I look at my watch. It is only 2:33. In the afternoon. Now what could have possibly happened up there this early in the day. Maybe some idiot went up to get high and fell asleep and it caught on fire. Oh well. I could care less. Not my problem.
I go back inside the laundromat, and realize that no one is going to come in to wash clothes, so I decide to close up. These people are so frickin nasty. Nobody washes clothes and I know they don't have any washer machines of their own in this broke down ruins they call a town.
As I walk out the laundromat, someone bumps into me. I've never seen this person before, but they seem lonely. He walks pass me and heads towards the carnival. I don't know what he is going to do there, but I am curious. So I head towards the carnival also. As I walk over, I see him head towards the ferris wheel. Someone near yells for him and I find out his name is Shayn. Cool...
I continue to walk around and view people since I don't want to feel like a stalker. I pass by the stand where you throw balls at a set up of bottles and see this army looking man trucking balls like its nothing. And all the while he is yelling commands like he is about to go to war. I get close enough to see his name is Lt. Rocco Stone. Before I realize it, he is staring me straight in the eye as if he knows me.
That's when it hits me...One of the guys my dad encountered here was never given a name. Just initials. LT. R.S. is this guy. And he must be staring because I look so much like my dad.
Hold one hot minute. Why is it that my dad only had encounters with guys. The few women were given names and the guys weren't... Could he have possibly been...
I turn quickly and walk far away and decide I need to find out why he died and what he was here for.

Working
So now I'm at this boring job. I don't even know why there is a laundry mat in this rundown town, since it seems like no one wears clean clothes anyway.
Sitting hear, I decide to draw what I see outside the laundry mat window. I see Mr.Takuya walking this big rat looking thing, and begin to doodle. There is something not right about that guy. Who has a big rat as a pet. And why is he walking right now anyway. It is brick cold outside and raining.
Anyway...Mr.Takuya's image is gone, and now there is this dreary, depressing feeling outside. It is 12 noon and I begin to grow hungry. I know no one will come to wash clothes, so I decide to take my lunch, and instead of returning to work, I'll just go to the butcher shop, pick me up some of that crappy meat and call it a day.
I hate going into the butcher shop. Dave, that nasty son of a gun, always tries something with anything that walks....Especially when he is drunk. His shop doesn't even smell like meat. It smells like sex and alcohol.
UGHHHH...I guess I have to deal with it if I want to eat. Hopefully he is sober.
On my way to Styx Meat, I see this guy. I have never seen him before but for some reason he attracts me. Not because he is hot or anything, Probably because of how out of place he looks. He looks like he has no clue about his surroundings. He's just walking with his head low near D&D. He probably doesn't know what the store is, since he seems really interested. For some reason when I see him, my dad's letter pops into my mind. Maybe he knows him
I'll have to find out.

The Beginning...
As I sit in my lonely one bedroom condo, I wonder how I've ended up here.
I try to remember my past, but it doesn't come back.
I vaguely remember my mother. She was a tall, light skin, oriental women who loved singing. That's all I remember.
I remember my dad being the odd ball. Not quite accepted, but I don't remember why. All I remember is that he was killed when I was 12.
He left me a note that had Shanty Town written on it. And that's how I ended up here. I don't know exactly what this place has to offer, but hopefully it helps me to figure out my past.
But now I have to go to work. Not exactly sure why I work at the Laundry Mat, but I guess it's all part of the mystery...
